Cheer4Fun In Nottingham
Learn stunts, jumps, tumbling and dance in a fun, supportive environment — with no previous cheer experience needed.
What Is Cheer4Fun?
Cheer4Fun is our recreational cheerleading programme for athletes who want to learn cheer in a relaxed, supportive environment.
Athletes get the opportunity to experience the different parts of cheerleading including stunts, jumps, tumbling, dance and performance.
The focus is on learning new skills, building confidence, making friends and enjoying being active.
There is no expectation that athletes already know how to tumble, stunt or perform before they arrive.
Why Families Choose Cheer4Fun
Cheer4Fun gives children the chance to experience cheerleading without immediately committing to the demands of a competitive team.
No Experience Needed
Beginners are welcome. Athletes can learn the foundations of cheer from their own starting point.
Learn New Skills
Classes introduce athletes to tumbling, jumps, stunts, dance and cheer technique.
Build Confidence
Learning new skills and performing with others can help children develop confidence and self-belief.
Be Part Of A Team
Cheer is naturally social. Athletes work together, encourage each other and learn as a group.
What Will They Learn?
Recreational cheer still introduces athletes to the core elements that make cheerleading such a varied and exciting sport.
Stunts
Athletes learn how to work together safely to create introductory cheerleading stunt skills.
Tumbling
Developing body control and introductory floor skills appropriate to each athlete's current ability.
Jumps
Learning cheer jump technique while developing strength, coordination and control.
Dance
Fun choreography develops timing, musicality, coordination and performance skills.
Teamwork
Athletes learn to communicate, cooperate and support the people they train alongside.
Perfect. That's What It's Here For.
Cheer4Fun is a great starting point for children who have never stepped onto a cheer floor before.
They do not need to be able to cartwheel. They do not need previous gymnastics experience. They do not need to know how cheerleading works.
They simply need to be ready to try something new.
Who Is Cheer4Fun For?
Recreational cheer can suit lots of different personalities and reasons for joining.
The Complete Beginner
For children who simply want to try cheerleading and discover what the sport is all about.
The Child Who Wants A New Hobby
A structured activity where they can move, learn, build friendships and be part of something.
The Athlete Who May Want More
Some athletes eventually decide they want to explore competitive cheer. Cheer4Fun can help build those foundations.
A Cheer Class Should Feel Exciting
Children learn best when they feel comfortable enough to try, make mistakes and keep improving.
Cheer4Fun classes combine structure and coaching with the enjoyment that should come from learning a new sport.

Thinking About Giving Cheer A Try?
Does my child need any cheerleading experience?
No. Cheer4Fun is suitable for children who are completely new to cheerleading as well as those who already have some experience.
Do they need to be able to tumble?
No. Athletes can begin from their current ability and develop skills progressively with coaching.
Is Cheer4Fun competitive?
Cheer4Fun is our recreational pathway. Its focus is on learning cheerleading skills, confidence and enjoyment rather than competition preparation.
What do children learn?
Classes can include stunts, tumbling, jumps, dance, performance, coordination and teamwork.
Can Cheer4Fun lead to a competitive team?
It can. Some athletes decide that they would eventually like to explore competitive cheer, while others simply continue enjoying recreational classes.
