CHEERLEADING CLASSES FOR MANSFIELD ATHLETES
All Star cheerleading combines athleticism, performance and teamwork into one fast-paced sport.
Athletes train across several areas rather than focusing on just one skill. Our programme works on strong foundations before athletes progress onto more advanced techniques.
Hotshots offers both recreational and competitive cheerleading opportunities, making it possible for complete beginners to discover the sport as well as experienced athletes to continue progressing.
COMPETITIVE CHEERLEADING
For athletes who want more of a challenge.
Hotshots competitive cheer teams train throughout the season, developing routines that combine stunting, tumbling, jumps, dance and performance.
Teams then represent Notts Hotshots at competitions across the UK, with selected teams and athletes also working towards international opportunities.
Competitive cheer isn't reserved for athletes who have been doing the sport for years. Many athletes begin with Hotshots, develop through the programme and progress onto competitive teams as their skills and confidence grow.
DANCE CLASSES NEAR MANSFIELD
Notts Hotshots also provides competitive dance opportunities for athletes looking for dance classes within travelling distance of Mansfield.
Hip Hop
Our hip hop programme combines choreography, musicality, technique, performance and teamwork.
Athletes learn how to perform confidently as part of a team while developing their individual movement and performance skills.
Lyrical
Lyrical training develops technique, flexibility, musical interpretation and expression.
Hotshots has lyrical opportunities across several age divisions, from younger dancers through to athletes competing at a high level.
TUMBLING TRAINING NEAR MANSFIELD
Want to develop stronger tumbling skills?
Tumbling is a major part of competitive cheerleading, and Hotshots provides dedicated opportunities for athletes to work on their technique.
Progression may include skills such as cartwheels, round-offs, walkovers, handsprings and increasingly advanced tumbling depending on the athlete's ability.
Our focus is always on building good foundations and developing skills progressively.
NEVER CHEERED BEFORE?
That's absolutely fine.
You don't need previous cheerleading experience to start at Hotshots.
Some athletes walk into their first session already able to tumble. Others haven't done a cartwheel before. Both have somewhere to start.
Our recreational and beginner pathways give athletes the chance to learn the sport, develop confidence and discover what they're capable of.
