Walk to Worlds
Join the Hotshots family for an eight-mile sponsored walk with a Halloween twist.
Carsington Water
We will walk eight miles together to raise money towards our international opportunities. As the event is close to Halloween, families are encouraged to come in fancy dress. There will be a prize for the best dressed.
Wear suitable footwear and clothing for the route and expected weather conditions.
Every participant should bring enough water and suitable snacks for the walk.
Fancy dress is encouraged, and a prize will be awarded to the best-dressed participant.

Supporting our Allstar Worlds teams as they prepare to represent Notts Hotshots in Orlando, Florida, in April 2027.

Supporting our European Summit teams as they prepare to represent Notts Hotshots in Lisbon, Portugal, in June 2027.
Competition Requirements
Approved fundraisers may support identified athlete costs, teamwear, competition requirements or other agreed international expenses.
Shared Fundraising
Academy-wide events bring families together and provide a coordinated way to support our athletes and international teams.
How Fundraising Works
Each fundraiser should make clear what it supports. This helps families understand where their money is going before they take part or donate.
Fundraising information should explain whether money supports a specific athlete, team, trip or agreed shared cost.
Funds raised are allocated according to the purpose communicated for that particular event or activity.
If you are unsure what a fundraiser supports, please ask before contributing and we will clarify it.
Ways Families Can Help
Supporting a fundraiser does not always mean organising an entire event. Small contributions from lots of families can make a major difference.
Join academy events, buy tickets and support activities when you are able.
Share approved events and donation links with friends, family and local contacts.
Suitable raffle, tombola or competition prizes can help a fundraiser generate more support.
Help with approved cake sales, stalls or other activities by contributing suitable items.
Connect Hotshots with businesses that may be able to sponsor or support an international team.
Share a safe and practical fundraising idea with the academy before beginning to organise it.
Any activity using the Notts Hotshots name, logo, athlete images, venue or team identity must be discussed and approved before it is advertised. This protects families, athletes and the academy.
