Discover. ✦
Movement that fits their age
Choose their kind of adventure.
Not every child needs a formal fitness class. Younger children often discover movement through relaxed play, while older beginners may be ready to try a fun, guided activity. At Tot-Shots, these are the two ways to get started.

Stay & Play
One hour to play, explore and enjoy time with other little ones. A relaxed, child-led session with a parent or carer alongside them.
Perfect for families who want a regular place to discover new activities without the expectations of a structured exercise class.
Stay & Play is an open-ended play session, not a dedicated fitness workout.

Tiny Cheer4Fun
Big smiles, beginner moves and a gentle introduction to cheerleading, coordination and teamwork.
A fun first step for children ready to try a more guided movement session. No cheerleading experience needed.
A beginner cheer class, rather than a general toddler gym or fitness class.
The magic of everyday movement
Big discoveries begin with little moves.
For younger children, activity can be as simple as playing, dancing, reaching, walking or exploring the space around them. It doesn't have to look like a workout.
Move their way
Give little ones time to experiment with movements that feel right for their age and stage.
Play alongside others
Being around other children can make everyday play a new and interesting experience.
Try something new
From exploring a play space to learning first cheer movements, there is no single way to begin.
A little inspiration for home
Five easy ways to get little ones moving.
You don't need specialist equipment or a long routine. Small bursts of age-appropriate play can fit naturally into the day.
- Put on their favourite song. Dance, clap and move to the music together.
- Play follow the leader. Try simple walking patterns and movements your child can copy comfortably.
- Take a little walk. Look for colours, shapes or interesting things along the way.
- Explore a playground. Choose equipment and activities suitable for your child's ability, with appropriate supervision.
- Make playtime active. Try safe, simple games with balls, soft toys or movement prompts.
These ideas are consistent with the NHS's guidance on encouraging movement and play for young children. Read the NHS guidance →
