Quarter-Up
A twisting stunt entry or transition incorporating approximately one quarter turn. Quarter-Up work introduces rotational timing while still demanding the same vertical drive, stable platform and flyer body control expected from a straight stunt entry.
What Is a Quarter-Up?
A stunt entry or transition incorporating approximately one quarter of a twisting rotation.
The turn should be intentional and completed as part of one coordinated stunt action rather than the bases and flyer rotating independently.
It is a useful progression for teaching twisting awareness before larger rotations such as Half-Ups and Full-Ups.

Vertical Drive
Avoid dragging the stunt sideways to create rotation.
Matched Turn
Both bases must understand the direction and timing.
Stay Tight
Maintain hips and shoulders together during the rotation.
Square the Position
The stunt should finish clearly facing the intended direction.
